Brad Paisley seems the have a soft spot in his heart for this subject. The video for Whisky Lullaby is a powerful telling of part of this dynamic.

John Fogerty is also a powerful voice on this topic. It's ironic that CCR songs show up in almost every movie made about Viet Nam.
