Created by author Jack Boyle, Boston Blackie first appeared in "The American Magazine" of July 1914, with the story "The Price of Principle". I edited out the publicity of this classic episode, which like all old time radio classics, is copyright free, in the public domain. This episode is also known as "The Manletter Bank Case", which was first broadcast on the 30th of June, 1944. Like in the movies of that period, The original Boston Blackie radio series also starred Chester Morris; And Lesley Woods played Blackie's girlfriend Mary Wesley. Richard Lane played the Inspector Farraday.
