Rod Blagojevich After Commutation: ‘I’m a Trumpocrat’

Rod Blagojevich effusively praised President Trump on Wednesday after returning home from federal prison the day before. Trump commuted the former Illinois governor’s 14-year prison sentence for corruption.

“President Trump is a man who is tough and outspoken, but he also has a kind heart. And this is an act of kindness and I believe it’s the beginning of a process that — to actually turn an injustice into a justice,” he said.

Blagojevich, a Democrat, served eight years in prison after being caught on tape for trying to sell a Senate seat to the highest bidder. He was convicted of 18 crimes total, including attempted extortion from campaign contributors, corrupt solicitation of funds, wire fraud, and lying to federal investigators.

Convicted former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich went on Fox News in his first post-release interview and held very little back about Barack Obama's involvement in the scandal that put him in prison, while the first black president was never held accountable.

Appearing on "Watters' World" with Jesse Watters, Blagojevich was quickly asked about the 2008 Senate-seat-for-sale scandal, in which Blagojevich had negotiated appointing an Obama-approved candidate, in exchange for a cabinet position.

Neil Young pens open letter to President Trump: "Our first black president was a better man than you are"

Neil Young is not mincing words when it comes to President Donald Trump. The singer wrote an open letter to Mr. Trump, posted on his website, and with the first sentence, it's apparent this is far from a love note: "You are a disgrace to my country," Young writes.

"Bragging about the U.S. economy does not disguise the fact that the numbers today are what you inherited almost 4 years ago," Young continues, referring to Mr. Trump's recent spat over President Obama's role in the financial recovery.

UK drivers spend £180 million replacing lost car keys

Some motorists spend 14 hours a year looking for misplaced keys.

British motorists have spent more than £180 million replacing misplaced car keys, according to a new study.

Research by the RAC found that 43 percent of drivers – the equivalent of about 16 million motorists – are regularly misplacing their keys, although most find them after a few minutes of searching.

According to the RAC, absent-minded drivers have spent an average of more than two minutes a day searching for keys. In total, that’s almost 14 hours per driver per year.
