From a silent newsreel film compiled and edited by Castle Films for the home market, sometime around 1950, this segment depicts a tourist visit to a Blackfeet encampment (obviously set up for tourist visits) on Glacier National Park. This kind of thing was fairly commonplace in the West at the time....there were "Indian Detours" set up as excursions off of the Santa Fe main railroad line by the railroad company to attract tourists, and, therefore, train riders.
