For years it seems that it has been in vogue in survival circles to use a small knife only, and survivalists have been telling us that small knives can in fact do all the work of a big knife.
They are correct it can, but a big knife can do big knife chores better, and what I am going to show today is that a large knife can do those small, delicate chores that people like small knives for too!
In this video I compare the Becker Bk9, Ontario Sp5, 10, Rtak II, and an Ex Gurkha Khukuri House Traditional Service #1 Khukuri, in their ability to make tent stakes, with some extra bushcraft notches that could be used for survival tasks like making traps etc.
