Australia suspends extradition treaty with Hong Kong, offers residency pathway for Hongkongers

Australia will suspend its extradition treaty with Hong Kong in response to the city’s national security law, said Prime Minister Scott Morrison. The country will also give 10,000 Hongkongers on student and temporary visas a pathway to permanent residency.
