AS SSD Benchmark: AHCI VS RAID ON /AHCI Autodetect: 256 GB Samsung 830

I was curious to see if the RAID On/ AHCI autodetect had an effect on performance with the SSD drives (given that AHCI is a subset of RAID). AS SSD benchmark performed on Dell Precision T3500, which again is SATA II (working on getting some T3600's in)

System Specs:
Dell Precision T3500
Xeon W3670 Six Core (H/T on)
18GB DDR3
Quadro 4000
Samsung 830 Seriss 256 GB
250 GB Secondary HDD (7200 rpm)

As seen in the video, both setups indicate they are using the same driver (device manager shows different drivers), but there's a clear performance advantage to leaving the SATA mode to AHCI only..
