From our full review of AR500 Armor's Level IIIA Hybrid, this little round from the 4.95" zipped right through it. The Civil Defense couldn't :D

Round failed to penetrate the vest. It made it through the yellow material, but stopped on the first layer of the Honeywell Spectra Shield.
