.265" Steel Plate VS AMT AUTOMAG III

Got the AMT AutoMag III out. .30 Carbine, 6" barrel. Very Nice shooting auto-loader. Decided to try it against that steel plate of mine. Had some 110gr FMJ's loaded by DRS, and then two shots from 110gr Privi FMJs. Still no complete penetration of the plate, but left decent craters in them, about equal to the 32gr Trident loading I shot at it from the FiveSeveN. Might have to try the same .30 carbine from the M1 next
