To determine the amount of oil required to premix with your 1 gallon of fuel just divide 128 ounces (fuel) by the ration of oil you wish to run. 40:1 ratio of fuel to oil for 1 gallon you just divide 128 by 40 which equals 3.2 ounces. Don't get caught using your wife or girlfriends measuring cup... buy a Ratio Rite because they're cheap.
