£1 Pliers: Which is Best???

I came across some 8 inch pliers for sale in Poundland for £1, just how good are 8 inch pliers for this price?? I decided to test a pair against a pair of (Quite rough) vintage pliers that I purchased also for £1 from a car boot sale.

You can find boxes of pliers for £1, or less, at car boot sales and there some very nice examples if you are prepared to search the for them. I take a thick pair of gloves along just in case there is something sharp in the box, also the tools in these boxes can be very dirty too! Take care!!

Find out if it is worth spending £1 on a pair of 8 inch pliers from Poundland or are you better off going out to your local car boot sale and rummaging through boxes of old pliers, I know what I'd rather do!!
